Our organization was founded in 1970, the purpose being to research, record and pass along the history of our family - primarily since our arrival in America in the early 1700's -- but also to seek a greater awareness of our ancestry in Europe. During the first ten years of our organization, a significant focus was made upon gathering historical records -- Wills, deeds, notes from family bibles, etc. and publishing them in the organization's newsletter. Copies of those newsletters are available for download at slusher.org Since that time, we have gathered and compiled a significant amount of genealogical data on each of Christopher's children and descendants in this Slusher Family Database.
The stylish lady in the hat is Miss Laura Gay Howell, granddaughter of Francis Leroy Slusher, 3X great granddaughter of Christopher Schlosser and 1st cousin (once removed) of the current webmaster.
